Our Mission:

At Mad Jack Blades, our mission is simple: to make knives and tools of uncompromising quality for those who honour the ethos of freedom, duty, and sacrifice. Whether military, emergency services, or those who walk in the footsteps of those that came before us, our blades are built for people whose lives are dedicated to others and to something greater than themselves.

We work only with the highest-grade British steel, honouring the legacy of the men and women who stood firm against adversity and carried the torch of freedom through the darkest times. Their courage and sacrifice set the standard — and every Mad Jack blade is built to live up to that ethos.

Each knife we make is designed to endure the same harsh realities as those who carry it: grit, pressure, and the weight of responsibility. From the battlefield to the backcountry, our blades are more than tools — they are a guarantee of resilience, built to perform when it matters most.

Owning a Mad Jack Blade means carrying a piece of history, a tribute to the greatest generation, and a commitment to the values they fought for. Strong. Reliable. Unyielding. Ready for whatever lies ahead.

Blades

The Vanguard
£240.00

THE VANGUARD

In the Second World War, the British Vanguard were the troops who went first — lead sections, reconnaissance patrols, airborne assault forces and commandos tasked with making contact before the main body could advance. They operated without certainty, often isolated and under fire, holding ground long enough for others to follow.

The Vanguard is built in that spirit.

Purpose-driven and uncompromising, this blade is designed for close work and decisive action. Every line and curve serves a function, with no excess and no ornament. It is a tool made for those moments when hesitation is not an option and commitment is absolute.

Sharing a similar overall size and finger ring loop to the Saboteur, the Vanguard offers a distinctly different feel in use. Where the Saboteur favours a tanto profile, the Vanguard features a clean, curved cutting edge for fluid, controlled cuts and a more traditional slicing geometry.

Handmade in the UK using British steel, the Vanguard carries forward the wartime ethos of British troops who advanced into the unknown so others could move forward behind them.

**Made to Order – Forged Specifically for You

Every Mad Jack blade is built to order in limited batches.

When an order window opens, a fixed number of blades are released. Once these slots are filled, the order window closes and production begins.

After orders are confirmed, steel is sourced, blades are cut, heat treated, ground, finished, and built by hand.

Lead time: approximately 4–6 weeks from order to dispatch.

This approach ensures quality, consistency, and that no blade is ever rushed or mass-produced.

The Saboteur
£260.00

The Saboteur is a modern combat blade rooted in the silent, shadowy world of the Second World War’s Special Operations Executive (SOE).

Inspired by the covert warriors who operated behind enemy lines—cutting cables, blowing bridges, and dispatching enemies in the dark. This finger-ringed karambit-tanto hybrid is built for absolute control and ruthless efficiency.

Crafted from 4.5mm thick British 1095 high carbon steel, this 210mm knife offers unmatched strength and a razor edge that holds up under pressure. The tanto point delivers brutal piercing capability, while the curved profile and finger ring give the operator complete retention and fast handling—even in the chaos of close quarters.

This blade is for those who appreciate surgical aggression—designed not to be seen until it’s too late. The Saboteur is a tribute to the men and women who fought from the shadows and made every strike count.

Handmade in Britain. Built to endure.

The Chariot The Chariot

The Chariot
£290.00

Named in honour of Operation Chariot — the St. Nazaire Raid, 1942.

Courage under fire. Precision under pressure. The Chariot Blade takes its name from one of the boldest raids in Commando history — Operation Chariot, a mission that defined British grit, aggression, and refusal to quit.

Built in that same spirit, the Chariot is handmade here in Britain from 4.5 mm thick British 1095 high-carbon steel, chosen for its strength, edge retention, and reliability in any conditions. The blade is Cerakote-finished for superior corrosion resistance and a clean, tactical aesthetic, then fitted with a stabilised wood handle — blending natural character with modern endurance.

Every Chariot is shaped, ground, and finished entirely by hand. No templates, no mass production, no compromise — just precision workmanship built to perform and endure.

The Raider

  • Edge: Flat-ground main axe blade

  • Rear: Tapered spike for puncture and breach

The Partisan
£140.00

“Quiet. Deadly. Uncompromising.”

Handmade from 4mm thick 1084 British steel, The Partisan is a tribute to the men and women of the WWII resistance, the stay-behind units, couriers, and saboteurs who fought from the shadows with whatever they could scavenge.

Concealable, balanced, and deadly in its simplicity, this dagger is built for those who value function over noise. A working tool, made to reflect the grit and ingenuity of those who never waited for orders to do what was right.

Every line, every detail, pays homage to the resourcefulness of the partisans who built weapons from scrap, lived unseen, and struck hard when the moment came.

Built for purpose.

The paracord wrap symbolises the improvised tools and survival mindset of WWII resistance fighters, who turned rope, wire, and steel into the means to survive and strike back.

Lightweight. Low-profile. Always ready.
